at the Arthur Child Museum, Gananoque

The Heritage Ambassadors of Kingston were invited to create an exhibit of antiques, and present a historical fashion show and lecture, for a special fundraising event at the museum on February 19th, as part of Heritage Week 2014. This special showcase represented the years 1897 to 1918 in England. After viewing the display of Edwardian era collectibles, museum guests enjoyed a formal afternoon tea service while taking in the presentation, which was inspired by the characters and plot of the popular PBS television series Downton Abbey.
